Hasanen Architects is a Paris-based design practice with a track record in delivering a broad range of activities relating to the shaping of our built environment. With offices worldwide, we work as a single studio that is both ethnically and culturally diverse.
Founded in 2015, our studio brings together skills in action-led research, urban design strategy, architecture, and broader place-making with a detailed understanding of how buildings' physical fabric can be accompanied by innovative, engaging, and collaborative delivery processes. The practice is experienced in designing a wide range of building types including office, residential, transport, education, culture, leisure, retail, civic, and healthcare. The quality of its designs has been recognized with some of architecture’s highest awards, including the Schindler Design Award, and Nest Felixable Houses.
Sustainability is at the core of everything we undertake. We verify all projects to meet global standards while developing custom strategies that drive our environmental agenda. To build sustainably requires us to design holistically, and our unique integrated design approach enables us to create innovative strategies that have a firm focus on the future of the environment. We hold deep values that are easy to share – we want to play our part in leaving a legacy of a better place and letting this value galvanize those we work with.
Within the practice, environmental and structural engineers, together with many other specialist design teams, work alongside the architects to create fully integrated design solutions. Each project starts with fresh thinking, leading to a tailor-made solution for both site and the user. A small, close-knit team typically undertakes design; the team that begins a project sees it through to completion, thus providing continuity throughout. We always consider the built environment as a totality and to apply a truly integrated approach to responsible design.
